We are also open to discuss other topics about the reasons why and the agenda being followed that were behind the 9/11 attacks. The Project for the New American Century (PNAC) made its founding statement, "Rebuilding America's Defenses" in September 2000. Within that statement about its agenda for ongoing global wars of conquest, it questioned the American public's willingness to go along with the agenda. In the "Rebuilding America's Defenses" PNAC had this to say about what it would take to get Americans behind their agenda, "“The process of transformation is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event—like a new Pearl Harbor.” 9/11 gave PNAC their new "Pearl Harbor." Founding members of PNAC include Vice President Dick Cheney, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, U.N. ambassador John Bolton, Elliot Abrams, William J. Bennett, Jeb Bush, I.
