Boston Mobe is a local grassroots activism organization in Boston, they have quite a track record with anti-war, anti-nuclear, stop the biolab, non-violence work, and much more, Mobe is most of all a youth empowerment organization right now. Three truly activated, young individuals from diverse backgrounds co-direct the organization, each with their own youth-focused program. Their youth empowerment work has incredible potential, and is showing awesome results.

Anniversary Kick-off with Howard Zinn Join us for Boston Mobilization's 30th Anniversary Celebration as noted historian Howard Zinn speaks on May 9th from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Democracy Center! This is a great opportunity to hear from past executive directors, reconnect with old friends, reflect on Boston Mobilization's progress over the last 30 years, and learn where we're headed. Light refreshments and entertainment will be provided.

Featuring Paul Nossiter's Original Dissonance Jazz Trio playing authentic New Orleans Style Jazz.
