Despite much progress in Afghanistan, serious security and developmental problems persist, causing strains within NATO as well as among donor countries and the Afghan government. In his update, Ambassador Neumann will discuss the current situation and attempt to clarify some of the less understood issues, whose implementation will be crucial to the success of the overall policy.
