Independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader is bringing his "People Fighting Back" campaign to Washington State this week!

Nader/Gonzalez take on the issues that corporate candidates, Clinton/Obama/McCain, refuse to address. Their campaign promotes:

Single-payer, Canadian-style national health insurance (publicly funded healthcare delivered by the private sector)
Rapid and comprehensive military and corporate withdrawal from Iraq
Crackdown on the corporate welfare and crime that cost millions of Americans their pensions and jobs
Labor law reform and repeal of the anti-union provisions of the Taft-Hartley Act

It's fair to call for an investigation, but don't shoot yourself in the foot. The 9/11 Commission report was distorted and incomplete. Over time, the demolition of the WTC buildings will become clear to more people. I think most Americans need more foundation before being confronted with the surreal possibility that 9/11 was an inside job. Learning about US foreign since WWII helps build a foundation. The media has a way of credibly dismissing people and groups who speak the uncomfortable truth.

I am a McKinney supporter. Her message is basically the same as Nader's except Cynthia articulates 9/11 Truth brilliantly. This meeting will be receptive to 9/11 Truth so bring your stuff. There may also be some sophisticated detractors who wish to keep it off the table. Goal: we need to get Nader &/or Gonazalez to make a statement of support for a new investigation.

Ralph Nader has save millions of lives through his advocacy promoting safety standards. He clearly understands what needs to happen to restore America to the ideals that most American cherish. Corporate America is optimizing profits and treating most people as unpeople. It's time to remove the ineffectual and corrupt politicians from our governments and create a truly representative Democracy. Over a period of years, we can build an alternative. Get informed and get active.

Who attended?

    •  Ralph Nader is just as articulate on his feet as he is on a keyboard. He is challenging the establishment with clarity of thought.
    •  MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! 9/11 Truth issues were brought up by 3 separate questioners after the speeches. Nader specifically said "There are many unanswered questions..." and tipped his hat to the work of David Ray Griffin. Because of this, several people came up to our table after the rally and wanted to know how to get material by Griffin. Then, as a grand finale, Ralph posed in front of our banner, "911 Questions" with some of our group. THIS WAS AN IMPORTANT COUP FOR OUR MOVEMENT. There were known 9/11 unbelievers in the audience who have tried before to keep the issue out of local progressive politics, several Green Party members in particular. They needed to have Nader lay down the logic; we may have made some important allies.
