California Convergence 2008 - 9/11 TRUTH RALLY!

Join us February 10th for our most massive truth action EVER, featuring a convergence of California's finest truth groups: Irvine, OC, Santa Barbara, LA, Laguna Beach, and more! Luke Rudkowski, founder of WeAreChange, and Cosmos, founder of TruthAction.org and the 11th day of the month actions will be coming into town just to be a part of this huge event! The last two regional rallies have been phenomenally successful and truly inspiring. Now it's our turn to take San Diego by a storm. We will be in Balboa Park. starting at the big fountain in front of the Fleece Space Center for our rally, then will march to Hillcrest, get a bite and all head to see David Ray Griffin give his new lecture at the UU church.
Luke will be there with his live feed over the internet! And Cosmos will broadcast his Saturday Truth Revolution Radio show from San Diego! This is one event you don't want to miss!

Unfortunately, I had to drag my kids kicking and screaming to the event and we left late, ran into traffic, and when I got there I could not find the group. I tried to catch up at the end point, which was a vague "area" of town, but could not find the group there either. I suggest 1) a mapped route of the march and 2) a cell phone # available to call. I do not know San Diego at all, so we had to kill quite a few hours before the D.R. Griffin event at 4 pm. doing nothing. I spent the better part of the previous day making my sign. I had e-mailed several people including the leader of the group on Saturday, and received no response from anyone. I feel the organization for what was billed as a big event, a "convergence", was lacking. As a suggestion, any future "convergence" might consider making the site a more central location for converging, such as Los Angeles.

I am hoping to go w/my 2 kids, tho my daughter has a bad cold. We have Arrest Bush t-shirts, but no signs. Will there be signs available there? I can possibly give a ride to 1 or 2 people if you can deal with my driving and my kids, who usually bicker in the back. I'm in Brentwood.
